The Last Upholsterer: William Johnson

William Johnson upholstered furniture since he was nine years old. He worked for his father in Athens, Ohio before relocating the upholstery shop to The Plains, Ohio in 1972. He continued to refinish and reupholster furniture until his death in November 2018. Johnson was the last upholsterer in Athens County, Ohio.
